RE-VIVE completed the design and fit out of the North Star Coffee Kiosk at 3, The Embankment, in the heart of Leeds’ business district. This coffee shop breaks the mould and shouts about the North Star brand. We collaborated with the Brand Manager of North Star to understand their brand message and aspirations for the space. North Star knew what they wanted and we knew exactly how to bring their dream to life with some of that

We hope you all enjoy the space as much as we have enjoyed designing and delivering the scheme for this awesome Leeds Indy Brand.

At 35 m2 the space is small but full of personality, and perfect for its location. The Kiosk is a grab and go style unit with an impactful tiled coffee station, standing window table, POS bakery unit, retail space and sandwich counter. The look and feel is playful and enticing and the colourful paint scheme reflects the depths of the flavours of North Star’s signature products.

RE-VIVE’s ‘spark word’ for the entire project was ‘sustainability’. From the floor, to the walls we have considered the materials life cycle, we have used Recork, all natural cork harvested from trees in a sustainable, well managed cork forrest. The paint on the walls is from Bauwerk, a company with high ethical standards. Their lime-wash paints are made using clay, minerals and beautiful, natural pigments, sourced from around the world - the same way that North Star Coffee Roasters source their beans.

Believe it or not, the worktop, window table and shelving are manufactured out of Paper! The material made by PaperStone® is beautiful and heavy-duty, known for its warm touch, its contemporary appearance, and its environmental sustainability.
