RE-VIVE were asked by Hooson & Stuttard to bring their dated opticians space into
the 21st century. Taking their playful new website as a starting point, plus working
simultaneously and collaboratively on their re-brand, we were able to deliver
a fun and bright new interior to help them compete in this developing market.
We completely changed the interior wall layout, offering a new space plan that
re-mapped the customer journey through the shop. This journey now works seamlessly
with Hooson & Stuttard's sales process, maximising time and space efficiency.
Seeing Hooson & Stuttard's hands-on and attentive customer service inspired us to create a real
boutique feel for the shop. We achieved this by combining raw materials with hints of precious metals
and designed fully bespoke display units to give each pair of glasses the attention they deserve.
As always, we strived to use locally sourced, eco-friendly and unconventional materials.
We created the main display unit from fully recyclable cardboard panels provided
by Ultra Board, with a removable perspex facing for a glossy clinical finish.
